After a couple of months inactive without a team, Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen formerly from EG has now formed a new team based in Finland. The team features the trio lurppis, naSu & plastE from roccat, GamePlay and Power Gaming, and is completed by newcomers BASiC from Power Gaming and Online Kingdom and aslak most recently from munkka. The trio had been mostly inactive since winning Digifest over BASiC's & aslak's teams back in March, although both naSu and plastE had rang for OK during ICSC's earlier online stage, which in the end allowed paistit to take over their spot in the league.
This is what lurppis had to say about this team:

"Since I ended up visiting the US earlier this year than originally planned and will spend the rest of the Summer in Finland, with some convincing from my buddy Vincent I decided to give CS another try since not having touched the game for almost three months had built up a lot of motivation for me. BASiC already talked to me about forming a team like this months ago, but due to my earlier plans it never happened until now. I basically handpicked the team based on individual skill, social factors, motivation and playing roles/styles, and all the pieces seem to fit in really well together. We have already beaten FX and M5 online on top of good results in practice after only two weeks together, so we're really looking to prove ourselves at ICSC finals and the following Summer events. We're also currently in the search for an organization to represent, so if you're interested in picking us up, you can reach me at #paistit on QuakeNet or at ." Paistit recently lost against Frag eXecutors 13-16 on train before a double header against Moscow Five where they won train 16-8 and tied tuscan, and then clinched the first place in their group by beating NEO & co 16-12 on nuke. The team has now qualified for the ICSC 8 LAN Finals to be held at the CyberSports Arena in Kiev, Ukraine on 9-10th July, and will be competing for the first place prize of $5,000 against the likes of SK, FX, ESC and M5.
