Brett "Few" Sheffield on Sun, 12/23/2012 2:39AM
Copenhagen Games, which have grown to be one of the largest events in Europe, has just announced their first title for the 2013 event. Sponsored by Intel and Komplett, a grand total of $44,000 will be given out to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

The event is set to take place during March 27th-31st in Copenhagen, Denmark at the Øksnehallen Centre. In the past the venue has hosted both Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike: Source events. Earlier this year, Torqued traveled to Denmark and placed Fourth.

Sign-ups for the event will start around the New Year. It is unknown if any North American teams plan to attend the event yet, but stay tuned to ESEA News for any announcements regarding Copenhagen Games 2013.
