    Signups known for Copenhagen Games

    B "Few" S on Fri, 03/01/2013 4:54PM
Although many teams have partially signed up, the Copenhagen Games website has been populated with the team that have signed up for a chance to be included in the main tournament. A total of 16 teams will be selected from the list, all who will gain auto-admittance into the main event. The other 16 spots will come from teams who battle it out inside the BYOC tournament taking place before the main event.

A total of 33,000 Euros is up for grabs as many of the top teams from around the world are keen on attending. So far, both CURSE.NA and Quantic from North America have signed up for the event. It is unknown if Dynamic will make the trip, although it has been hinted that the team would not have the proper funding to make it.

The event is three weeks before the North American and European teams are set to clash at ESEA Season 13 LAN Finals.

I wish that these entire lists of teams had the means to go to all of these big lans (32-64 team tourneys including more US teams) the amount of good teams is starting to shoot up drastically compared to this time last season.

Hopefully ESEA can explode in the next year or so and be able to jump start the N/A tournament scene.

it's only a 32 team LAN once the main event begins, so 50 teams (including the world's best) isn't that bad of a turnout, especially considering the tournament is in a BYOC format.

If not NiP, I feel like the new Anexis is going to win this event.

We have started putting all the team on growth hormones and anabolic steroids. We also make Quantic train 20+ hours a day and they are getting fed from a tube. This is our event. Anyone saying we won't be winning this is craaaazyyy.
