After being marked dead for not paying their Invite fees on time, Ninjas in Pyjamas has officially been replaced in the ESEA-Invite European division by LGB eSports. While an official reason was not given about the change, ESEA News is reaching out to NiP for an official statement from the team.

Ninjas in Pyjamas is the most successful team to play ESEA-Invite, going 16-0 two seasons in a row and being undefeated in best-of-three's at ESEA LAN, racking up 7 victories in a row. The team will most likely focus on the biggest CS:GO tournament ever, DreamHack Winter, which is set to take place in November. There would not have been any conflict with Dreamhack and the ESEA LAN Finals, which have yet to be announced.

NiP won't be at the Season 15 LAN Finals

LGB eSports takes the nod as one of the up-and-coming teams in the Invite division. Many have said the underdog team could do some serious damage, and the team now has a chance in a global spotlight to do it. The squad will be attending the ESWC World Finals at the end of the month. The team reached the World Finals by defeating the new SK lineup in the online qualifier.
