Just seconds ago, the compLexity
team removed Braxton "swag" Pierce
from their roster. When ESEA News reached out to Spencer "Hiko" Martin for more information, he declined to comment.
Within a few minutes of Pierce being removed, Ryan "fReakazoid" Abadir
joined the compLexity roster. Pierce originally joined up with the compLexity roster after Kory "semphis" Friesen and Martin were cut from Quantic Gaming's roster under Sam "DaZeD" Marine's leadership. The new roster put him back with his former 1.6 teammates who saw a great deal of success in the final seasons of 1.6 Invite.
It is believed that Abadir will remain as compLexity's fifth, although it possible that more changes are coming to the North American scene after changes have been made. It appears that Todd "anger" Williams will no longer be playing for iBUYPOWER, but neither side has confirmed this. Williams did not play in iBUYPOWER's last match, even though he is on the roster. Instead, iBUYPOWER has been using Cody "ezpk-g-" Shirley as a 4th and their manager, Derrick "impulsive" Truong. It is possible that Williams will return to playing this week.
|Update: compLexity has confirmed the departure of Braxton "swag" Pierce on the team's website.|
"The squad has decided to release Braxton "Swag" Pierce. Swag was instrumental in the recent success of the team during the EMS One event in Katowice and will be missed. We'd like to thank Braxton for his hard work, dedication and contributions to the team and wish him the very best in the future."
