Joshua "steel" Nissan, the longtime member and leader of Fully Torqued has agreed to play at international events and online matches with the mTw European organization. He will be playing alongside many of the top talents from multiple countries, but with names that will be recognized from recent international events.
The team has also added Alexander "rdl" Redl alongside Nissan in a roster revamp following a third place finish in the ESL Pro Series last year. Redl will be joining the teams EPS squad, but Nissan will be playing in many other matches from his home in Canada for now. He will also be attending possible LAN events with the team in the future.
Nissan had this to tell
mTw's website, "I am very honored to be able to play with and for mTw. They have been a well established organization with very competitive teams in the past and I cannot wait to be a part of this new lineup. I feel that I will develop immensely as a player and I hope that I am considered an asset to the team. I extend thanks to my former teammates from the iterations of Cyber-Revolution and Torqued as well as Adren and Legend from Dynamic for helping me to become the player I am today and for all the positive experiences."
This is the first time in a while that we have seen a North American player join up with a mostly European squad to compete in events. One of the last notable squads to do this outside of the CGS was NoA, having Michael "method" So and Griffin "shaGuar" Benger joining forces with 3 European players.
Nissan has confirmed his attendance at the ESEA Season 11 LAN Finals with ESEA News.
