Whats up with the lower bracket? Lower round 1 and round 2 should be merged into the same round. A loser from Upper round 1 plays a loser from Upper round 2. When are those matches being played?

Will we play ... ? someday ? And I hope we'll play the first round on snakewater... not gpit.
ESEA is just handling these playoffs awefully. A lot a free leagues do a far better job.

I think the overall bracket isn't put together well. It isn't even how double elimination is usually set up. Typical sports brackets have the losers of the semis play for third place, not enter randomly into the lower bracket for a shot at 1st again.

Sure it's "nice" to get a second chance at 1st, but it's not fair to the team that can go all the way in the main draw, and then have to play a team in the finals that has already lost 1 match, and have a possibility of playing the same team twice.

#6, didn't you fail with double elimination brackets before? This is a normal double elimination bracket, and the only way to play somebody twice is to play them in the upper bracket and either lose and make it to the semi-finals (finals if you lose the UB finals) of the lower bracket or meet again in the upper bracket finals. If you notice, people who played each other are always placed on the opposite side of the lower bracket so they can't meet until the semi-finals of the lower. Please stop trying to confuse a single elimination bracket with a double, they aren't the same. Double elimination is working properly.

The seeding, on the other hand, is lol since it wasn't RF/H2H but alphabetical. Oh well.
