CS:GO Interview with Chet from Valve

    B "Few" S on Tue, 10/25/2011 12:09AM
Ronald "Rambo" Kim and Kyle "Ksharp" Miller sat down with Chet Faliszek from Valve at the IEM6 Global Challenge New York to get hands on information about the newest version of Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Both Kim and Miller don't hold back on any questions, getting as much information as possible behind-the-scenes. A number of topics are covered ranging from questions about the development of the game (including game modes) to more technical game-play questions that were taken directly from ESEA community members.

With the beta right around the corner, ESEA and ESEANews will be bringing you in depth coverage from every aspect from the game. We will be one of the hubs for beta key giveaways, so check back constantly if you want a chance to play!

What about other CS communities, like surf and KZ? Will they have a spot in cs go?

cs go will be short lived at best, if it is supported by esea or other leagues itll just separate what little scene we have instead of unifying it like they plan.

Needs more discussion on the movement. Walk speed, crouching, jumping, bunny hopping, etc.

Agree. They need to realise that we do not need realism. The game mechanics that take skill to master are what made this game so long-lasting.

They need to take other cs1.6 communities into consideration, like jumpers and others. Have them watch PUBMASTERS and other movies like that. Its the so-called "BUGS" that make the game what it is, really...
