On behalf of the entire ESEA News staff, I’d like to welcome you to 2012. In 2011, ESEA News went through a few internal changes, while keeping a similar look for you guys. In 2012, we’re going to change that. Last year we took our first step in video produced content, and in 2012 it’s only going to progress. While we won’t abandon the editorial content, video content will become increasingly more prevalent.
Also in 2011, we saw the announcement and BETA launch of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. We’ve had a blast presenting you content to help introduce you to the game, and the future of CS:GO is bright in 2012. We’ll put a strong focus on what could be the future of the Counter-Strike series, but as long as Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike: Source are still around, we won’t abandon them. Another key feature we hope to grow in 2012 is the Pro Player Live Streams. As long as you guys want to watch them, we’ll have them for you. These streams are the best way to get insight from pro players about 1.6 or CS:S and find out the ins and outs of CS:GO before it becomes available to everyone.
In 2012, we’ll also be looking to make some changes ourselves. Our goal is to start our search for new writers and bring them on board very soon. Be on a look out for post that will look to hire key people to be part of the future of ESEA News and E-Sports.
Stay tuned to ESEA News for more Top Stories of 2011 for your respective game. If you missed the Counter-Strike: Source one, check it out
Enjoy the rest of the holidays!
