Hold Mouse One entered the first Invite Season as one of the most unknown team to compete at the invite level. After winning a Call of Duty online tournament, and having a history of success in previous games, Hold Mouse One set out to be the best team in North America. Since then they have become a community favorite.
Due to their success, Hold Mouse One has secured the sponsorship from Curse. Curse is known for sponsoring teams outside of the FPS genre. With teams and a website network focused on MMO's and MOBA's, Curse is looking to expand into the FPS scene. They most recently have been seen hosting a King of the Hill tournament on a weekly basis, but will now move into sponsoring one of the top teams in North America.
The team can bee seen next at the ESEA LAN Finals starting on November 17th for Counter-Strike:GO. At the LAN Finals they will feature their five players from the regular season. Post LAN Finals Zach "tm-" Miller will depart from the team and former Dynamic player Todd "anger_" Williams will suit up as the teams fifth. Williams is currently still playing for Dynamic in CS:S.
After the ESEA LAN Finals the team will travel together to Sweden to compete at DreamHack Winter. While the updated tournament list has yet to be announced, the team has confirmed that they will be attending and did receive an Invite. This means that two teams from North America will be taking on the top teams from across Europe. Most recently at ESWC, the Americans of Area51 were able to take third. DreamHack will kick off November 22nd.

We wanted to go, but with ESWC this past weekend and ESEA LAN next weekend we were really strapped for money :(
Hopefully we can attend the next big CS:GO LAN :)
#12 you guys just won $4,000 i dont see the problem, especially after you get your winnings from ESEA lan, which im sure you guys will place top3 in at least...

money won from CS doesn't mean it goes back into CS.

#16 so scarves and designer hoodies?
its honestly awesome that the 3 top teams in invite are all getting to dish it out overseas. if they can either repeat what A51 did or actually surpass it, that would be pretty huge.
are Curse or Dynamic getting the chance to bootcamp also?

esealan is 3-4 days before the event, so its a good bootcamp

#25 well that's kinda fucked imo. esealan will benefit Dynamic in the sense that they haven't played side by side as a lineup before, and it'll benefit Curse because they only have 1 LAN under their belts in CS period. if they don't get the chance to bootcamp in europe and scrim some of the teams there, it puts them at a significant disadvantage compared to A51. plus all of their effort is going into ESEA now, and then they have 3 days to prepare for europe. not the best situation for them.
and is Curse even attending ESEA LAN? they have 4 players considering tm- hates them
#15 yea and most ppl with decent jobs dont have time to play cs as much as these guys do, i'd just think of it as an investment in their gaming careers
and what's the full confirmed team list for dreamhack so far?

Also as much as I like HMO they are going to get railed in europe. They have really good teamwork but outside of Skadoodle and now Anger they have standard aim for international play. When they meet the likes of ex6tenz, f0rest, get_right and so on it wont be pretty.
Good luck tho! Its sick to see NA teams making it to more international events.
