Just days after returning home from a 5/6th place finish at ESEA LAN Season 13, Team Curse NA has already decided to switch up the roster for Season 14. With the first roster move of the off-season, Team Curse NA has released in-game leader Cody "ezpk-g-" Shirley. ESEA News has also received word that original member Michael "Michael3D" Wilbanks will be released from the line-up.

ezpk-g- joined Curse in Week 2 of ESEA League's 13th season. Since then, ezpk traveled to Copenhagen Games with the squad, finishing in 7/8th place in Curse's "breakout" event.

Michael3D was originally with the hold mouse one line-up that came over from the Call of Duty scene to join ESEA CS:GO Invite. After finishing first in the Season 12 regular season, hold mouse one, which became Curse, was forced to drop out of the LAN playoffs when former member emong broke his wrist. Michael3D also participated with Curse at the ESWC North American Qualifiers and Dreamhack 2012.

New leader, Skadoodle has yet to announce the team's new additions. ESEA News is awaiting a statement from the remaining Curse players.

Todd "anger" Williams
Stan "stan^" Sukachov
Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham

Cody "ezpk-g-" Shirley provided the following statement to ESEA News regarding his departure:

"I was thrown into the leader role halfway through the season, from what I was told "upper management" wanted to make changes so I have nothing against my former teammates and wish them the best of luck. They felt my fragging ability wasn't enough and they need a better in-game leader too.

I am moving to Las Vegas to play poker, hopefully for a living and I did warn them before I joined the team I don't know how much time I would have once I move.

They have tons of potential with the right fits, and hopefully improve as a team after I'm gone, no hard feelings.
