Our teams went to viaduct for their second match where we saw an even back and forth match up until 2-2. Mixup won one of their rounds with some big plays from TLR, who had by far the most airshots out of any of the soldiers in the match. They also saw some success by running a heavy towards the end of the round where they could easily deny jumpers and get some point presence. Lansky ended up being HRG's secret weapon against this as his direct rockets were able quickly shut down the heavy. HRG's strategy revolved more around B4nny who put out an incredible amount of damage throughout the match. B4nny made the biggest difference during the initial rollouts to give HRG some early time on the point. The fourth round was particularly tight with HRG finishing off the round only twenty seconds ahead of Mixup.

Our players wasted no time after the half as HRG took an early advantage in the fifth round by picking off Harbleu and earning a big uber advantage. Mixup looked as if they might have had a shot as coming back during the round after Harbleu performed a narrow surf all the way into house to keep himself alive and be able to repush his team back into the point as the clock approached its final seconds. Towards the very end of the round both Cyzer and Shrugger really stepped up their performance getting the most frags they have all LAN and securing their last capture. HRG was able to hold off Mixup's final push attempt and finish the round twenty seconds ahead of Mixup. Congratulations to HRG for their LAN victory. Mixup played a solid game throughout LAN and they gave us a great final to watch, so props to them as well.
